Unit 4: Loving Kindness

He states that you basically give what you get and helps with human flourishing. I think that the exercise was a little weird, although relaxing. I think that the part about thinking of a loved one that is suffering was a little heart to let go of the grasp and attachment when she stated “let them be”. That was a little hard for me because the way that I just let something be is to refrain from thinking about it. I would recommend this to others because I think that it can help relieve stress and produce and release loving kindness. Mental workout is a way to relieve the mind and possibley help heal the body of youself and others. Breathing exercises such as the loving kindness exercise definitely helps because it brings a sense of peace and balance because you are taking in physical flaws and suffering while releasing love, kindness, and peace.

Unit 3: Intergral Healing Correct Post


A-physical 6 because I am a good size, although, I feel like I lost weight too fast and it was unintentional. I also smoke about 6 or less cigarettes per day and drink on weekends. My goal is to tighten up my gluts and backside since my stomach and love handles disappeared out of nowhere. I will do stretches and squats for at least 30 minutes per day after work in addition to cutting down on smoking cigarettes, although that is easier said than done.

B-Spiritual 7 because I am a very spiritual person and I constantly pray. I do not attend church as much as I feel that I should, but I do have a sense of spirituality that keeps me at peace and gives me sanity during hectic times. I think that reading my bible a little more will help me stay focused and at peace.

C- psychological 6 because I am definitely working on my emotions and staying stress free. This is something that is taking time because the guy that I was in a relationship with for 3 years tore me down mentally, therefore making me have low self esteem and made me feel worthless to an extent. I am just beginning to get my “swagger” back and be happy with who I am and what I have to offer to myself. I think that staying around positive people and continuing to do my breathing exercises will help me.

I think that this listening exercise was very helpful, although the breathing exercises is pretty much what I do anyways. I learned this from a previous class. The lights were are a little outrageous and my mind began to really wander. I do think that his voice was very calming, although this was a bit too long in my opinion.

Unit 3

Hello everyone,

This has been an excellent week for me, although, I am coming down with a cold. A co worker advised me to take a drink of vodka and lemon juice, but that will give me indegestion.

Do anyone have any better ideas?
